Where did the name Rakino come from?

Rakino is a small island in the Hauraki Gulf just off the coast, north-east of Auckland, New Zealand. With pockets of coastal pohutukawa dotted along its shores, Rakino's physical makeup consists of greywacke rock covered by a layer of clay topped with fertile volcanic topsoil.
